Even the announcers last night act like Kelly never played in a championship. I think Freeman is a good modern coach. The best thing he has is 2 extremely seasoned coordinators. They don't get rattled and have called huge games before. Anyone who scores 28 pts beats them. They just control the game to keep possessions limited.

At the time the hire was made, what was the better decision? A defensive coordinator who has never been HC for a single snap, or the winningest head coach in ND history? Honest question.

You are right. The debate is moot. Freeman is doing a better job than BK as of now. That not really debatable.

No one gives a shite. BK made a terrible decision to try to build the HS recruiting….period. He has shifted. Bama is suffering the same. OU the same….embrace the portal or die. Or play a schedule with one ranked team a year.
