Its popular with me. I'd like to hire the guy who coaches rave about regarding the quality of their work products.

The smart schemer and precise play caller who has "smartest guy in the room" aura and proves it on and off the field.

A bit arrogant, yes, but knows he's ready to show what he can do with the resources he'll have at hand.

Don't know who that is, but hopeful that such a coach is the target of this search.

The sad thing is there will be a % of fans no matter who the coach is will from day 1 that will never support him.Yhr reason of coarse is because they didn’t hire the man THEY wanted, there are some sick Fs as LSU fans.

Bingo. Look at Elko and how physical aTm looked. I think Brent Key is someone to keep an eye on. GTech looks like a team with the gameplan of making the other team quit.

Freeman - Same as Day. Kelly left when they were #5 in the country. I like Freeman, but he walked into an already-made program with a soft as hell schedule.

and he started the season 0-2. no thanks

remember we he put 10 guys on the field at the goaline last year against osu and they ran the ball right where the 11th guy would have lined up Yeah, I remember.....

Agreee doesn’t have to be a name. Most of the names are established themselves under the old non NIL and transfer rules. We need to have someone who understands the existing landscape and not someone who doesn’t know how to play under the Modern rules.

I doubt LSU will get Lane Kiffin..good or bad I don't know. I did look up Lea HC at Vandy and he is 43 yo and was a FB and has been a LB/DC coach. The main problem is he is a Vandy alumnus. Key at Georgia Tech is only 47 and was a RG but once again he is HC at his alma mater. He has an OL coach background and only makes $4.2 million. Don't know what Lea at Vandy makes since they are a private school and don't have to report salaries. Both meet the toughness standards hands down but since they are coaching at their alma maters, don't know how anxious they would be to leave.
