Ok let’s break it down year by year by year. They have him locked down for 3 years so instead of completely looking at the QB’s let’s look at teams….
Year 1
Nuss/Tigers #9 ??/Wolverines #14
Let’s see how this year plays out. Yes I know Nuss has experience and who knows if Underwood will be the full time starter with NO EXPERIENCE
Let’s see what team has the better year and then move on to number two
Year 2 & Year 3
Now here’s where it gets interesting and we’ll see who got the better deal. So by losing him we freed up lots of $$$$ under the salary cap and got some key players to make a run. So let’s say we win it all that right there might be enough to say we got the better deal. Also we now need to find the next Burrow/Daniels/Nuss for these years whether he’s already here or still in high school or comes to us via the portal. Is Underwood still even there after year 1 or 2? Does he win one or does he bail? Was he really worth all that cash?
Basically we need to look at both big/total pictures in December 2027 and see who made the right choice. Until next time baws…….

An article I just read said nothing official has been announced, but word from the players have said it will be Underwood over the others, including one experienced transfer.

I have nothing against the kid and won't mind if he does well.
But I want Michigan to lose every game.

As a Michigan fan I want Underwood to go ahead and take his lumps but I wouldn’t be surprised if Mikey Keene starts game 1 and BU comes in for a few packages and takes over against Oklahoma.
Don’t need him to be Burrow or Jayden. If he’s competent and can not throw the ball to the other team Michigan will be in playoff contention come end of the year.

Weak.
I wish no ill will towards the kid whatsoever. In fact, he may have jolted this program into the future of how college football will be ran. Thanks for the awesome defensive pieces Bryce.
