Unbelievable that LSU’s 8.7 million dollar coach is only good at one job!

1. Coach O is being paid to recruit.
2. Coach O is being paid to represent and promote LSU well.
3. Coach O is being paid to hire the best assistants in college football.
4. Coach O is being paid to win consistently.

Now that’s unbelievable, only one accomplishment, all the rest are failures coming from a 8.7 million dollar coach! This is unsustainable for LSU whether it’s short term or long.

How do you give him a pass on recruiting?? His personnel decisions are terrible. We have a walk on starting at running back.. our oline is thin and god awful..

His A+ recruiting is definitely making our OL, LBs, and Safeties elite huh

It’s a passing grade in recruiting, not an A or B more like a C+.or B minus. The rest are all F’s.

You don’t. Saban is his daddy and constantly cherry picks the best Louisiana recruits.
If Saban wants someone in Louisiana he gets him. And O can’t do a fricking thing about it.

I couldn’t have said it better myself. Everyone talks about how great he is in recruiting but our LB’s, OL, and RB’s is a thin and weak positions.

Look I want shrimp boat gone as much as the next guy but to say Saban hasn’t wanted guys like Smith, Boutte, Ryan etc are just lying
There’s like 100 things to roast shrimp over but that really isn’t one of them. Now every out of state recruit Saban wants? Absolutely. Jojo Earle is a perfect example, Koht too

I always love when people call O some elite recruiter. He’s a good closer for actual elite recruiters and that’s about it. Look how regularly he gets clowned on signing day.

Explain it to them. I’m old enough to remember when LSU couldn’t bring in big recruits like that. He just doesn’t have the ability or staff currently to coach them up.

His recruiting has quickly turned Miles-esque. Highly ranked classes but absolutely depleted of big talented boys for the trenches.
And you can’t say even QBs are better under O — early on Miles had stud QBs, he just routinely misused them…again, which is where O appears to be trending.

The only good thing about O when he was hired was that he was at least cheap. Now, he’s still the same buffoon but is one of the highest paid coaches in the country.

Thats is awful if he left his sick wife like that. Even if she had an addiction he could have atleast tryed to get her help.

I’m being extremely fair to Coach O, can’t fail him when he repeatedly signs top 5 classes. He needs better assistants to know the numbers and who to recruit.

Ensminger, Aranda and Brady were the real coaches.
Without them, this team has no system. Coach O has no process or system. He was a short term hire. He did well with Miles' players and coaches, but they are all gone. His hires are bottom of the SEC. They brought no system or process. They have never called a game. They were like the 4th or 5th choice. You can't win with that. The crew last year are better than these guys.
