I really think the Cajuns would beat us this year. Especially if the game was next week. They woukd be fired up and we wouldnt be!

It's not like top Louisiana talent is going to start picking a Sun Belt school over LSU.

Let's be honest. Naturally, LSU would be about a 10 point favorite, but this game would be close. On paper, LSU should win. But the LSU locker room is in disarray, and the culture is toxic right now. There is a sense of apathy with these players to get this season over with.
I'm as diehard a Cajun fan as they come, but I am a realist. The Cajuns should never come within two TD's of LSU. The fact that this can and would happen if the two were to play this year is concerning.

Actually, that long snapper had been one of our most consistently solid players all season long. That’s why at App State was a huge WTF moment. We could have seen it from a number of players, but not him.
Hopefully whatever mental block caused that is fixed by next weekend.

1/3 of the starters are from out of state and probably unaware that there's a ranked G5 school just 70 miles west of them. It's not like we're fielding 22 New Iberia boys.
