Its really saddening a couple years ago I remember ULL was offering free tickets to their football games just for eating at McDonalds just to get people to attend their sad games.

Yeah it sure is. But "LSU" is also a state approved abbreviation. "UL" is not, unless you live in Kentucky

What is most perplexing to me is "Louisiana" on the front of the "UL" football jersey, when in fact they are probably the fourth or fifth most relevant intstitution in the state behind LSU, La Tech, UL Monroe, and Southeastern....oh yeah, and don't forget about Southern....and UNO.

They still give tickets away or "discounted". My office turned down free baseball and football tickets this past season. Reasoning being every worker here is either a LSU alumni or Marine.
