Fans have finally figured out the bowl/ticket scam being pulled by most of the bowl sponsors...i.e. they keep the vast majority of the great sideline seats for their own "season ticket holders/sponsors" and all the upper deck/crap seats to the participating schools...and REQUIRE they purchase 16,000 of the worst seats....I haven't played their game in years...LOL

This is terrible I hate this.

"Are you people serious?"
LSU fans have little interest in attending a bowl requiring a 8+ hr drive or a flight to a place where their team will play for the 5th time in the past 17 seasons.
"Did y'all even win y'alls bowl last year? Uh. No. We did."
Oo-Lah-Lah beat an 8-4 team. LSU lost to an 11-1 team which LSU had already beaten once on the road. Winning a 4th rate bowl game < 200 miles from campus vs an unranked team from over 1000 miles away, that's only something about which a bottom-feeder would brag.
"ULL gonna take over the state!!"
Not a snowball's chance in Hell in football, basketball or baseball. Only chance of that is if ballroom dancing becomes a "sport" sanctioned by the NCAA.

ULL fans pull for Alabama before LSU. :P

Most UL fans just like to take any jab at LSU whenever they can because any sensible ULL fan knows that LSU's football team is superior. I'm not an LSU hater like some of them, hence why I'm even on this site.

Got called out today from a UL-L fan

i'm certainly not worried about a paradigm shift in college football, that being said why even engage with them? I don't entertain their diatribe.....ever, its been so long since(if ever) they where relavent outside of Bobby Boushey Parish nobody cares. they're like Tulane fans 2.0 or LaTech fans with cajun accents.

Lafayette is a good time. Girls put out... great place to grow up.

Re:OP
Doesn't UL let people into their game for free at half time?

Agree Tickfawtiger, could not have said it better myself! Every time I have ordered through LSU I get shite tickets. Cotton Bowl - our row was the last row - NO ONE was sitting behind us! If I am going to an away game or bowl game, I want decent seats! Which means ordering off StubHub, etc. I'll gladly pay the extra!

This.

Never see why an obvious troll gets everyone's draws in a knot here, turning into a ULL vs. LSU putdown.

Just saying if you have the means and time to get to Atlanta for the game you should go. I went to te Chick-Fil-A bowl in 2008, the kickoff vs. UNC in 2010, and the SEC Championship last year. Atlanta is fun as shite and they sell Budweiser in the stadium

The biggest issue for ULL fans is whether ESPN will call them Lafayette during the game. Glad we don't have an identity crisis.

ULL don't have 10,000 fans that would drive 5 minutes to Cajun Field to watch a game. Ask 'em how many home games they sold out...that should get a rise out of them.
