Urban Meyer has wone one national championship. I'm assuming you've won two or more? I mean I would imagine so if you're giving him advice on how to coach. Who did you win yours with?

We practiced the Sunday after the Ole Miss game too. They're in college. A practice 6 days before the game won't hurt too bad.
I disagree. I've found that often, not practicing can be just as and more beneficial than practicing when it's excessive. They need to get out of the pressure cooker sometimes, it's a drain on the mind.

it's an opinion and there are MANY coaches (some of whom have won NCs) that feel the same way in regards to keeping legs fresh.

Bobby Bowden was one of them.

There is a reason most NFL clubs don't go full tilt while in season.......conditioning is done off season and in mini.

....but, hey, thanks for contributing a few dingleberries to the thread.

1. They didnt have pads on yesterday
2. They took their day off today, per last week's schedule.

No need to over-analyze.

I don't believe you're a doctor, but I do believe you play one on the Rant.

He's also a better college football coach than all of us.

UF practicing on Sunday
is not a good idea with an ailing team and LSU being rested. Trust me, Meyer is overworking them and it will lead to a poor 2nd half.
They took Monday off.

You're reaching in order to try to self fulfill an idea that makes you feel better that this gives LSU an edge.

No big deal. After doing this last week, the players liked practicing on Sunday and having Monday off. So, they went with it again.

no I am not.....I was simply reading into something. Now that I know they took Monday off, I'll retract it.

see, Meyer let them have Monday off as to keep their legs.......

I get what you're sayin CharlesLSU but unless they went all out Sunday and go all out the rest of the week it's just the same.
But there's a big dif between LSU and Ar-Kansas IMHO and Urban wants them to have 6 hard practices before LSU when they are already kinda banged up that may be the dumbest move that guy makes ... could be the best though, we shall see
