Though I don’t think he’s too long for this game. Probably won’t go over 70 pitches unless he’s really feeling it.

That’s not what anyone with sense wants. We should want the freshmen to take huge jumps, guys like Evans and Williams to bounce back from sophomore slumps, and Bide to become more consistent. Then we can use all that NIL for a few big key players, not replacing a mass exodus.

How many strike 3 fastballs have we looked at? I haven't been able to keep up with half the at bats and I've seen/heard 4.

Yep. He seems to be getting better as the season goes on. Have a feeling he's going to be really good. With him, Serna, and Ricken - that's a pretty good freshman group to build around.
