While LSU’s first game is against UCLA. Is this to LSU’s favor or UCLA’s favor? Hawaii could be a distraction for them but it could also allow them to work through some hiccups most teams have in the first game. Regardless, the tigers will win by double digits.

Better for LSU we can scout their team and UCLA has no idea what our offense or defense looks like with our new coordinators. We can run specific plays based on the looks they show and can find a weakness ina a player and attack his way

Great coaches have repeatedly told us about the quantum leap of their American football teams, from week 1 to week 2, so there is that reference.

Our defensive line MAY dictate the outcome, more than the game with Hawaii.Chip Kelly is no baby and wise HC!! 2011 and Oregon’s loss to LSU may be stuck in his craw, Orgeron better reckon with that and his USC Rosefinch Connection, ultra-rival of UCLA. It may have been 99% wannabe, but USC is UCLA’s nemesis!!

It’s always an advantage to have a game under your belt.

It could be a 6 of 1 or half dozen of the other. UCLA might be able to work out some kinks or have key injuries in their game. My money will be on LSU regardless - a 13 point win.

So it is an advantage for them to play a game before the game vs LSU. They always say you make your biggest improvements from week 1 to week 2. Virginia Tech pulled this bush league bull shat in '02 and snuck a game in before the opener vs LSU and they wound up beating us. We got the last laugh when they returned the trip in '07 and we beat that a$$

Bro LSU could lose 40 players to injury before the UCLA game and we would still win.

If we do not win that game, it is over for O at LSU

Playing Hawaii before us could be detrimental to them. The Ragin Rainbows won't prepare them for our speed at the skill positions. If we execute our offense and play sound assignment defense, we'll win this game by 2 TDs imo. Could be much worse. High scoring affair likely
