UCLA tailgate - hope to pay it forward!

Six years ago, my friends and I took a trip to Baton Rouge to experience SEC football watching LSU beat Auburn. We started the day at Walk-ons and then took a stroll through the tailgate where every single Tiger tailgate offered us fried alligator, jambalaya, invited us to stay and have some bourbon and beers with them- they actually seemed so impressed that some Cali boys appreciated the SEC enough to see it in person. We had the time of our lives. Then over the next years, we hit Knoxville (awesome), the Grove (a bit overrated), Athens (awesome), and two years ago College Station (a bit underrated if you ask me). But the best of the best was the first trip to LSU.
So with LSU coming to the Rose Bowl, we hope to pay it forward by hosting any LSU fans that wander into our tailgate. We'll have some Cali favorites like Santa Maria Tri Tip, Carne Asada tacos, and lots of West Coast IPAs, Bourbon, etc. So if you are coming and happen to see a tailgate with a blue and gold DPHS easy up canopy, in the middle of the golf course, come hit us up for our version of southern hospitality.

Very cool. Will look for you when we’re over there.

Mrs. Gumbeaux and I will be wandering around the golf course. We will look for your tailgate! Thanks!

Haven’t had a tri tip since my cuz from LA came to visit 2 years ago and brought them with him. Very good meat. Look forward to it.

Great! I haven't been to a game at the Rose Bowl since I went to see UCLA play Arizona a few years ago when I was stationed at Edwards AFB. I'll be wandering around and, if I see ya'll, I'll stop by!

in the middle of the golf course,
This isn’t like the 9th green at 9:00 type of thing is it?
Kidding. Sounds like you’re setting up for a great time

If I am doing math correctly you got to see the Fournette rampage of Auburn which was a great game. However if this is correct you got cheated a little bit - this was an afternoon game. The best is a night game in Tiger Stadium! A. lot of the same but more time to pickle

I will be at Brookside Golf Club. If this is where you are setup I will give you a shoutout.

This is great, but be careful what you wish for!

My cousin, whom I haven't seen in many years, lives in Nevada and is married to a Bruin. They go to most of the home games. They are welcoming me to their tailgate and I expect a full spread of delicious food and beverages.
