promises from coaches and love for the state and school.
Miles has shown he will open it up more when he has an upperclassman QB.. He will trust the pass more then...
Star receivers didn't do much early on, but broke out their Junior season.
We finally.. finally.. have 2 upperclassman QBs, both with NCAA starting experience I believe..

Diarse, Quinn and now Johnson
All 3 talented guys that left.
Lsu might should consider putting same emphasis on more olineman and dlineman.
Those groups will win them more games than a dozen 4/5 star wrs.

the guy was practicing with the freshmen, while freshmen were practicing with the vets, he had been passed up. If it were simply an issue of not being able to shine in this offense he would have left much sooner than a week into fall camp another fail for DALSU
Yeah, I defended that dude a ton when he went through that stuff.. but now he's just being sour IMO.. I don't believe what he is saying. He sounds like a bitter fan. He's right to his opinion though.. but definitely don't take it as fact. Actual people more in the know than him have said he got passed up.. It's been reported as recent as just two days ago..
Miles has shown he will trust the pass more when he has a veteran QB..

He went from our third receiver to dead last. This isn't from competition. There was some issue, and I said as much a week ago.
To clarify: I don't have any info. I'm just saying there has to be a personal problem or a problem with his teammates or coaches
In other words " I don't know what the F I'm talking about. I'm just making $hit up cause I can."

Do you honestly believe that we have a awesome offense that is these wide receivers and blowing it up in college we are run based team! We had 3 transfers from that position since the end of last year.

And where exactly on the depth chart were those 3 receivers???
I'll wait

I thought Tyron might develop into a decent possession receiver as he doesn't have great speed and is undersized. I guy with those measurables needs to have the fierce competitveness like Jarvis Landry.
On top of that, staring up at 6'5 Anderson, 6'6 Sullivan, 6'5 Ferguson and two speed demons like Chark and Davis; the writing is on the wall.

Diarse played a shite ton. Quinn got a lot of PT as well. Diarse was one of our best run blocking WRs.
They left because while on the field they weren't getting the ball, not because they couldn't get on the field.

Does this make four receivers this summer?
Spears
Diarse
Quinn
Johnson

That's right, take the ball out of the hands of the best player LSU has ever seen so it'll keep the WRs happy.
I'm all for throwing the ball, but if they don't need to, I'm not throwing anywhere if Fournette is running down their throats.
After last years debacle and Miles technically losing his job and his job being on the line this year, I find it hard to believe that all of that didn't open his eyes to what he needs to do. With a more experienced QB, I expect them to throw the ball more this year....but at the same time, I don't expect to be some spread air raid team because LSU has, arguably, the best RB tandem in the country.
I understand people hold grudges, but can we at least see what they bring to the table this year? If he runs the same offense, you'll all be happy because Miles will lose his job. If not, some major changes have taken place and the offense has taken a few steps forward.

Every major school seems to overrecruit at receiver more than any other position. Schools that aren't lining up 4 or 5 wideout sets constantly have guys transferring all the time. LSU has had 4 guys transfer this offseason (Spears as well) and they still have 8 very talented guys at the position. I loved Johnson's talent and I'm sad to see him go, but this is probably best for both parties. There's no need to have a guy who doesn't want to be at LSU.

Ask Alabama how having guys bigger and badder upfront than their competition has worked out for them past few years.
You prob still have that stupid Chris Rock look on your fricking face right now.
More Big strong lineman? Derrrrep huh derrrp

QB issues not getting the ball, lack of offense, these kids want to shine.
Of course there is room for improvement on offense, but football isn't about one player. He would have had his time to shine with three years left in the program.

I'm surprised that his skills didn't translate. I think he just lacked the fundamentals to play in a pro-style offense.

I wish him the best of luck, just like Quinn and Diarse. I think in the right situation with the right attitude, he may turn out. Im glad he chose to be a Tiger and hope he shines wherever he goes.

LOL. Triggered I see... I wasn't opposed to having "bigger and badder" guys on the O and D lines. That would be silly. The confused face was because of the fact that you can still recruit O line and D line 4 and 5* recruits at the same time you are recruiting the 4 and 5* WRs. I know, it's a crazy concept... but it just could work.

So basically this was a combination of him not putting in the work and expecting a high spot on the depth chart as well as him coming to an inept passing game when said during his recruitment he wanted to go to a high power spread passing attack.
Honestly, sounds like it's the best for both of us for him to move on. If he was just expecting to start or get that #3 spot this year because he was a 5-star and wanted to see a lot more passes thrown his way then he should probably go to a Texas Tech.
