unlike the other 3, mathieu actually had a chance for the nfl.

As a special teams player, yes. He was a phenomenal return guy but he got pushed around as a DB when he had to cover big physical receivers.

I really wonder if les kept JJ in such high regard because of wanting to recruit his brother Ricky.

I've heard this before. But think about it. Is there a player in the world that would be worth sacrificing a national championship one year, and dividing a team in half? Much less a Jefferson from Destrehan, LA?

No way Les would think that way.

Right?

Seriously, though, right?

I for one am not looking forward to another Jefferson in an LSU uniform given the oblivious headache that JJ has been, and I don't want JJ to have any ties to the program beyond today. Period.

Place the blame on JJ who felt he had to try to force his way into the apartment complex instead of waiting a minute or 2 for someone to let him in.

Anyone else notice JJ and Bryant are apparently roommates? How long before PD makes a visit to their place? At least we know how JJ could afford all those shoes.

Who wouldn't want another 4/5 star recruit from Destrahan with the last name Jefferson

I'm with you, Slap. I smell racism.

Why couldn't cops just call the apartment, ask those boys if they were up to something, and demand the truth? We all know those boys would have told the truth, they're former LSU players. Then, cops get them to promise to bring all the pot with them in a few days to the jail, and book them behind closed doors.

frick America. We're a communist state.

You missed the part about how JJ tried to force his way past a security gate I presume?

If JJ's other charges are still pending, this incident will not help him at all. If anything, the prosecutor will hit him harder.

Well we all were kids once.
My time was the 70's. Just don't see smoking pot that bad. Believe back then cops did look the other way especially LSU PLAYER'S but it's not like the good ol days. The world and the people in it has gotten worse every decade
