I work a lot of jails. Indeed, it is the stupid ones that get caught.

This needs to be on every damn page of this thread.
We don't know the story yet. I had a buddy get busted for possession in college and he never smoked in his life nor did he have any weed on him. His ahole buddy had it when they got pulled over. He ended up getting off as he should have.
If TM7 knew this guy had weed and let him into his house then he exercised poor judgement, but it isn't even close to a reason to crucify the guy.
Lets wait before we destroy the poor guy and talk about him never playing a football down again.

Likely swept under the rug. The procedure used in the first place was shady since you do not need an indictment for felony second degree battery. It's pretty obvious to me the grand jury was involved to take the heat off giving JJ a break.

Hmmmmm....good question. Charges were droppped to misdemeanor, but never heard if JJ plead out, or case is pending. I would assume it's still pending. If he would have plead, seems like it would have been all over the news.

I really wonder if les kept JJ in such high regard because of wanting to recruit his brother Ricky. No idea what kind of kid ricky Jefferson is, but I for one am not looking forward to another Jefferson in an LSU uniform given the oblivious headache that JJ has been, and I don't want JJ to have any ties to the program beyond today. Period.

I think it is becoming legal in Washington. They want to increase tax revenue.
What you goofballs don't get is legalize pot then these aholes will sell something else illegal. Bath salts, then legalize bath salts then they'll sell heroin. It's called EASY MONEY to get what you want without working fot it.

I do not agree. He had a prime opportunity to prove he really changed and was deserving of another chance to play football at LSU. He chose to hang out with the wrong people and needs to suffer the consequences.
That is called life.

unlike the other 3, mathieu actually had a chance for the nfl.
smh. kids are given an opportunity in college football.. food.. housing.. education.. 3 year interview for the nfl and they piss it away because of stupid decisions.

Police should have just left the apartment. Making a public spectable of these young men is wrong. Bet if they went to every apartment in that area would find many more guilty of same offense. I smell a rat a mile away

Lets fire Les since he was still keeping JJ around and letting him hang on the sidelines during games. Les is letting the kids hang out with the wrong people, and he too has to deal with the consequences.
