I was working with this girl the other day, and we were talking about LSU. We got on the subject of fans leaving early, so i began to tell her about the WV game. As we all know the game was close the entire second half. I went on to say at halftime people were moving in packs to leave the stadium, and i was pissed off about people leaving early and bitching about it. Midway through that, she tells me her, and her husband pretty much leave early EVERY GAME TO BEAT THE TRAFFIC! I pretty much told her I hated her and they need to sell their SEASON TICKETS NOW! I told her there are thousands of fans that want to go and watch the game. WTF is the point of going to the game and not staying, especially when its a CLOSE GAME!

How any of people in here are like that, cause I'm sure there are plenty. I just want to say i hate you.

Wow, you should stay home! You hate someone over dumb shi* like this? you need help!

When I pay premium $ to go to an LSU game I stay the whole time. But I'll be @!#$@#% if some punk wants to tell me how I should spend my money. If I want to get the kids home to bed earlier rather than later then you can go screw yourself buddy because I'm out of here

Edit: If I pay money to see two quarters of football then thats my prerogative. If I want to misspell prerogative that's my prerogative too!

Fans who drive from more than a hundred miles out are more of a fan than those who live in East Baton Rouge Parish.

I can't determine if my post or the OP is worse.

He'd probably say (avoiding having your balls slip in his mouth obviously), "When did you have surgery to get balls added on to your vagina?"

If you're at a great steakhouse and the guy at the table next to you pours ketchup all over his $40 ribeye, wouldn't you wince? Yes, he paid the same amount for his steak that you did, but does that really mean you have to be completely non-judgmental about what he chooses to do with it? Sure, he has a legal right to eat it however he wants (or, maybe more analogous to this case, throw most of the best part away), but wouldn't you basically think that he's a d*****bag for doing so? I think that's how most of us feel about LSU fans who don't get the norms of Tiger Stadium--come fired up, stay until the end, and make noise!

Quite possibly I would not notice because I would be focussed on the beautiful lady across the table from me, or the nice big juicy steak that I am about to enjoy. Quit worrying about everyone else. Get your own shite in order first.

It's a "STATUS" thing. Your not the "IN" crowd in Baton Rouge unless you go to the game. My wife's sister (OLE MISS ALUMNI) doesn't know shite or care about LSU, but she "HAS" to be at the game.

This person pretty much nailed it.

There's no reason for the original poster to get that pi$$ed over it, but I understand the questions it brings. Some people have legit reasoning, but others...

It's like going to see a great movie and leaving with 20 minutes left having no clue how it will end. It's pretty stupid. If you're gonna go, you might as well stay and see what actually happens. And some leave early no matter how awesome or close a game is. They beat the traffic to go home and be bored out of their minds with nothing to do.

There are a number of people that don't really want to go (like the poster above said), but they go just so they can feel like they had something to do and they can talk about how they went to the big game on Monday at work. Cause I mean, some of those people that leave early live less than an hour away. It's not like it's that big of a deal if they get home a little later. 95% of the people I know don't have $hit to do on Sunday but roll out of bed at 11:59 to watch the Saints.

Besides, there are other people who think they are beating the traffic these days all at the same time and they end up sitting in traffic anyway. It's really all where you park and which route you take. I got to where I was going relatively easy this year after games.

But they paid (a number of them anyway) and they can do what they want. It is pretty stupid in a lot of cases, but you should enjoy yourself and not worry about them. There are plenty of people that stay and you should enjoy being with them.

Yeah, lay off the early departures. It makes the traffic a little more bearable for those of us who stay till the end.

Yeah, good point...there are benefits for those of us who stay til the end. We get to see whether the team actually wins or loses and we get home faster!

I got to agree with you on that one. If you are worried about traffic, stay the fu ck home. There are two couples two rows down from me that do the same thing every game. Why even bother to come to the game? Stay home and quit bothering the fans that WANT TO SEE THE FUC KING GAME.
