Has he played at all this season? I have only seen Fehoko and Big Ed at nose this year.

Ed is battling injuries, he probably needs surgery.
Shelvin needs to get in shape, plain and simple.
O is not going to give out playing time if it's not earned as it should be.

I know he played some against SELU. He looked out of shape. hands on hips huffing and puffing after one play. I didnt see much disruption while in the game. I wasnt primarily focusing on him either

He’s not motivated enough to stay in shape so therefore he’s riding the pine

Yes, but very little; and totally unremarkable when he did. He seems not to have the desire or drive to win.

He played late against Southeastern IIRC. He definitely logged some time but it was late.

Just against Southeastern LA, that's it.

Im starting to worry he'll be a Travonte Valentine type and just be a myth.

Not getting grades in order and getting in shape is a big red flag for sure.

And on top of that we absolutely could use someone to help out at NT with Alexander and maybe send Fehoko out to DE more and the coaches feel like he still cant help there.

I will say he looked pretty good against SELA, not sure why he cant get more snaps this year, has to be off the field stuff. He obviously didn't help his case crying on social media after the Miami win about not playing.

If his tweet earlier in the season is true, he is in fact already looking at other schools. Since that tweet O had a talk with him and he played vs. SE. At the end of the day, who knows.

Yeah, I really wanted Fehoko at DE. I think he's a much better fit, but Ed can't stay healthy and Shelvin can't motivate his lazy self to be able to contribute. I think Fehoko at DE becomes a disruptive player.

So if Big ED is hurt and Shelvin is out of shape who would we go with to back up Fehoko?

. This may have been why they tried to move Donovaughn Campbell to D Line
