No. Bama would not have recruited him, because of they can get guys just as good who are eligible. You might have a point if we were beating Bama half the time, but they have dominated us. And it isn't because the NCAA is cheating for them.

All the also-rans complain about special treatment of all the champions. It's what losers do.

All of this bull shite might have some merit if not for the case of Eddie Lacy. The dude can barely read and was eligible at Alabama from day one.

You're the real loser. Nothing but a troll and shouldn't be allowed here. It's a good thing I'm not in charge of this site because you would be ousted quickly. Ban this fool!!!

If he can't play until next year, it doesn't mean much that he was cleared to enroll in school. Glad for him to start college and I hope he gets his college degree, but it means absolutely nothing for LSU football this year.

He's redshirt in this year, which he prob would have done anyway, so it really is no different. He can still practice with the team and go to classes but he can't dress or play in any games until next season. I think he needs to get in shape a little more and drop some weight anyway, this is perfect for shelvin.

Better late than never. If he can get a few good practices in and a few snaps against BYU (probably unlikely), I would call that a win.

What part of "won't be eligible to play this year" is so hard to understand?

You have no fricking clue what lacy and shelvins grades were. Our fans are such pathetic losers with the Bama penis envy

The dude was not going to redshirt. We have no depth at his position. It's not the end of the world, but it kinda sucks. Oh well, spilled milk and all that shite.

Redshirting because you don't have the grades is a big deal. School doesn't get easier from this point forward. HS was easy, you just had to show up.

It's far better that he is red shirting and working out with the team than playing at Jones CC.

Had he gone JUCO, highly unlikely he would find his way back to LSU.

frick. This sucks. We need him this year.

We have a senior that started every game last year and a sophomore that was SEC all-freshman behind him…

Excited to have him next year!
