Honestly this one doesn’t make sense to me.

The Risk Reward for Chase made sense

Less so for Shelvin.

He better come fit to the combine or he’s gonna drop like a rock.

Still love the guy. Tiger forever, but I just Think this is the wrong move. I will add I just want to see the guy succeed and go high in the draft and I am Questioning this move.

He just cost himself millions. No way this kid will be disciplined enough to drop the weight on his own. Every time he goes home he comes back heavier what do you think he will do with a full year off from football? He could be 400 lbs by the draft. It’s a shame too because he’s so talented and O really put a lot of work in with him. He could have been a top 20 pick now he’s probably 3rd round at best.

This one doesn't really make much sense.

He has trouble keeping his weight under control and he could benefit from playing another season.

One top 5 lock and one player who didn’t want to put in the work “for free.”

I wouldn’t be too worried.
Not saying it's the end of the world but it's four presumed starters that have opted out now.

Why can’t our good players stay until their junior/senior years like every other top program??

In times of such uncertainty, they should be taking the money asap.

You can’t justify this one. He can blame Covid all he wants, but shelvin has zero business opting out a month before the season starts.

Makes perfect sense to me, Covid is more dangerous to obese individuals and Shelvin plays a position that requires obesity. Him being more obese than others at his position makes it even a bigger concern.

If the quarantined O-Lineman are symptomatic I can see that causing players to think twice & opt out, hope for the best there.

Not sure how it all works but if LSU can't allow him access to workouts due to insurance and having to take back his scholly he will have to find a place to work out so he doesn't blossom to 600 pounds. I would think though he will keep his scholly.
