Damn he must have seen the writing on the wall that’s sad, I really though singleton and atkins were going to be the next greats

Supposedly he put on 15lbs of good weight and up to 226. He is an elite athlete with tons of upside. One of the surprises of fall camp so far.

That’s an absolute massive development!! If the kid is putting on good weight while maintaining his freakish athleticism we’re looking at a potential game changer. Theirs a reason Blake baker wasn’t aggressive attacking the portal at lb. He’s all in on the young pups we have

Did Baker do it, or did Brian Kelly’s recruiting efforts do it?

Both. Coaches need great talent to be elite and great talent needs great coaching to reach their potential. It's both.

The comments are relevant as follows :

To keep the cupboard stocked at LB it would be good to sign at least 1 linebacker minimum in every signing class.

LSU Def Coordinator prefers LBs of great length in the 6’3 range….and they are not very easy to find.

The LB LSU had in their sites was 6’3” 205
with former playing time at Safety as well… so you know he can run and cover.

This guy is a rare athlete and hopefully LSU can afford to circle back…. as opposed to signing no linebackers at all or taking one with inferior size and cover ability..

You Saavy.

Hopefully somebody will step up. Keys is not a very big linebacker.

I bet Singleton and Tackett Curtis together at Many was a nightmare for opposing high school offenses.

Maybe not but the dude was all over the field and in on tons of plays and tackles when he was in the game last year. Keys is a heck of an athlete and I for one hope he does see the field a lot.

It seems like from fall camp that next season might be Keys and Singleton at LB and CJ Jimcoily at star. Behind them there will be a lot of talent pushing for time like Ross, baby Weeks, Braker, Moses . . .

That LB room is stacked.

By himself? Did he discover the guy, or was it an area recruiter? You can bet it was a broad team effort.

Ask arch manning. Witnessed him on a few occasions throw interceptions to keep from being sacked

singleton ran trey holley down from behind after holley had already broke free and hit the sideline. Also tylen ran step for step with z thomas last season in the bowl game for zavions TD. Yeh hes got some speed
