There's very few coaches who would have bunted there. You play for the win on the road tie at home. You have 3 batters to get a hit the kids didn't get the job done it's baseball it happens

This is not his first rodeo with not bunting when everybody and his brother would. He and many other even lesser coaches keep thinking they are going to give up a potential big so let's not bunch.
And to the theory that he didn't bunt so we would not potential waste pitching is about as stupid logic as I have ever heard. You play to win the game says Herb. It's not like we have a scrub pitching tomorrow.

Did anything Bresux do tonite lead you to believe he could have driven in a runner from third?
You're basically saying give up Watson who has been hitting for Breaux who hadn't played much lately and who has looked bad tonite.

Yeah it's time for Breaux to get back on the bench, he looked terrible tonight. Our whole approach at the plate was horrible. That's where we lost this game really.
