And we have 3 Ks. Watson doesn't bunt or swing his bat and watches 2 pitches over plate. Slaughter swings at ball 4 in his eyes when the pitcher is obviously trying to stay away from him and then is mad at ump, on a bad call, but shouldn't have been in the hands of the ump. And Breaux couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat lately. Horrible at bats at end of lineup!!!

Obviously he didn't want a tie other wise he would have most certainly bunted. He wanted to win that inning and get out with minimum arms used. You use all your arms now on one game and it's big advantage FL.

Now we just have to win the next two or fail.
I know our fans can't see two feet in front of them but sometimes our coaches think about the things ahead instead of what's in front.

He'll blame somebody or something but himself and "give credit to that GREAT Florida team. They battled the whole game. Wouldn't be surprised to see them in Omaha."

I know he's young but Watson has struck out in several crucial spots so far this season

So y'all don't think "the bunt" didn't cross a HOF coachs mind during a game but it crossed the average fans mind?

Now that is what's funny!

Idk what's so funny if we would have tied the game which the odds favor pretty highly then you either pitch your best relievers, which still don't match FL's at home or you could pitch our least favorite, possibly use up a ton of them trying to get the win. Now we are in a bind the entire weekend against FL away. It's obvious to me why he didn't do it. Probably felt he had the same odds of going for the win right then.

You're complaining about using relievers in a game where the starter just went 8 innings.

Just shut up already.

He took the bunt off. He went with a "gut feeling" and failed again.
