Ty Floyd is the best value available after the 1st round

Not close. He’s gonna make some GM very happy.

I wanted 3 in the first 28 picks selfishly.
I just hope he and Tre end up in good spots, and maybe a few surprise picks for the rest not coming back

If he develops a second pitch and adds a little bit more velo to his FB then watch out.

Hopefully.

When Ty gets his offspeed on point, he’s going to be a stud. Mixing that with his heater will at worst make him a great closer in MLB.

He’s going to be an elite bullpen arm, borderline middle of the rotation type arm, imo.
I think he projects as a guy similar to Blake Treinen.

Not really.
There’s a handful of HS guys, Tre Morgan, and Colton Ledbetter that are probably more valuable than Floyd at this point.
With that said, he’s got big league stuff and is a good value in the 2nd round.

Sorry I didn't suck his dick all season. Still rooting for him though.

Tre is not as valuable to big league teams as he is to us. He lacks the power they crave at 1B. Sucks, but it’s true. If you play the corners of the infield or outfield, they are looking for power

You’re correct, but many scouts have said he’s an anamoly (sp) and a generational talent when it comes to footwork and defense. While you’re correct with him lacking power, his defense could make up for it when it comes to his draft status, only time will tell.

Your point of a power guy at the corners is valid. I foresee Tre as being a Tony Gwynn type guy at the plate no matter what position he plays.
Tre Morgan is my most favorite Tiger baseball player I’ve seen in my 45 years alive. The way he appreciates the game, hustles each and every play, smiles at all times, and defensive prowess is unmatched IMO. I wish nothing but the best for the young man no matter what occurs the next two days. If he is not drafted high enough for his personal situation, I look forward to seeing him anchor 1B in 2024 on a second consecutive march to Omaha.
Tre Morgan will be a successful man in any endeavor he pursues no matter what occurs during this draft.

Yeah but he’s taking throws from pros. He saved us a lot of runners catching bad throws. He won’t be as valuable at the big league level with that because they hit you in the chest 99% of the time
He can move great for a 1B and will take some hits away.
I think he will either have to try to add power which will hurt the way he approaches his AB’s, or figure out how to hone his skill set to drive in a lot of runs keeping the ball in the park
I hope I’m wrong and he’s a 15 time all-star

Yuli Gurriel was extremely valuable at picking bad throws to first for the Astros for quite a few years. There is a place in MLB for elite 1st basemen

Tre's fate will be determined in the minors on how well he hits with a wooden bat. He hits so many balls around the strike zone that foul off of an aluminum bat and rarely strikes out. Using a wood bat will grab the ball on contact much better and he will foul off alot less and get the ball in play more often with a wooden bat. This stat will make him or break him.

I'm sure you've been quite busy. He'll have to wait his turn!

He'll be waiting a while. A lot of dudes ahead of him.

True, but he also didn’t crack the bigs until he was 32
