Floyd was throwing darts. In the zone . Then, Everything went to shite after someone in the LSU dugout got tossed. Seems know one could figure out who it was . Auburn coach fake outrage wasting time . After that point we see it fricked with Floyd and he got pulled . Baulked called on Floyd but not previously on Auburn pitcher The entire thing seemed fishy to me at the time. We got played this weekend and never bounced back .

Floyd will face adversity down the road this season. It's on him and the coaches to keep him mentally checked. His consistent pouting, poor body language is ridiculous in rough situations. The entire season the sec has had right strike zones - one would think he'd adjust by now or at the very least expect it and continue to push.

He lost his command at the start of the inning and then after the balk he just continued to go down hill.

This isn’t 12U travel ball. I have no idea what bad body language means at an SEC level of play. I guess I’m seeing things when MLB players throw bats, helmets, or raise hell on the field.

No excuses needed. LSU was due a series like this.

When other teams don't use their best pitchers in the first game why LSU doesn't do the same to neutralize their game plan? I have limited knowledge of baseball.

Because it’s not worth it. The routines of the starters are to have six days of rest. You don’t want to mess with those routines.

I thought he was fine initially after the balk.

Got the next batter out, got to 2-2 on the next guy, then the ump decides he wants to argue with Johnson again followed by Butch throwing his tamper tantrum to try and stall further.

It was after that 5-7 min delay Ty lost his command.

Hopefully it wakes them up as it will only get tougher from here on out…

Floyd will bounce back. I do think the staff needs to help him not get too impacted by the missed calls or poor calls by the umpire. Outside of that I think he is just fine. He was absolutely dealing up to that point.

If you can't continue throwing strikes after a stop in the game, get out of the SEC

Stop making excuses for the kid.

Not making excuses for Floyd, Im saying that charade fake outrage by Auburns coach to stall was intentional. Floyd was dominating . Auburn played a game on Floyd and it worked.

I’ve said this as well. The Auburn coach took FULL ADVANTAGE to get Floyd out his rhythm. Fake arguing literally nothing than calling batters in to talk. Then arguing again the grass was green. I LOVE seeing a coach affect a game and win it for his team and he gave them a great chance. Of course crews going 0-3 with bases loaded and men in scoring position would probably not happen in another 20 situations like that. The AU coach did a great job.

Yep….we all knew the pitching is shaky except for Skenes. We never knew what we were going to get each outing by each pitcher. The offense won each series but was starting to sputter a bit. This past weekend the offense went into the tank. And the same thing could happen in the postseason.

I hope the offense gets hot and is hitting on all cylinders at the right time because that’s what it will take to compensate for the inconsistent pitching.

Was watching the game with my dad and told him the AU coach outrage was 100% intentional and a charade.

It worked.

This team has injuries that may well hold it back this year. A shame really.
