I know that they want him to be an extended closer and I get it but I would love to see him as a Saturday starter

He could go a few more innings in if he would quit 'wasting' pitches striking everyone out.

I get that, but maybe could've cut some pitches off there. Use his 30+ this weekend with no worries.

Didn’t he start at San Fran or whatever college he was at?
I think I remember him pitching more than 2 or 3 innings this past fall as well?

Tulane batters were just outclassed by that fastball. Location was good too.
