I don't know where this inaccuracy rap on Narcisse comes from since he didn't play the last two years, but nonetheless, Jarvis Landry said the other day that Narcisse is laser accurate and can't believe that Brennan is any more accurate unless he is the second coming of John Elway

He might be, in practice.

JJ was all pro at the summer camps he went to. I am and always have been "may the best player play" kinda guy. But from the reps we've seen footage of, he's been a bit shaky.

I mean, that does always work in the sandlot games, right?

Most of the time. It also works well in college football too. Especially after a dual-threat QB burned the opponent for a couple of good long runs first beforehand.

It's one more player the defense has to account for.

First of all, I never compare QBs I have not seen play except on recruiting videos to former LSU QBs. There are far too many people on this board that automatically compare all dual threats to either Jordan Jefferson or Brandon Harris, which is utterly ridiculous. Not to mention, that thank God Les Miles is no longer the head coach anymore.

Anyway, that's not what I saw in the videos I watched last year. Narcisse appeared to be just as accurate as all the other QBs in my opinion.

Anyway, Mike Detillier says that Narcisse is a very gifted passer in his own right from what he saw and that the only area he felt that Brennan had a slight edge was at throwing passes down the middle because he had many more reps relative to Narcisse at reading the defense in Canada's offense, which won't be the offense again this season. As Narcisse didn't get hardly any reps last season until they were getting ready for the bowl game.

Meanwhile, Danny Etling says that Narcisse will be a stud QB and that he was very impressed with how much of the offense Narcisse picked up last year with so little reps. He also said that Narcisse's maturity and attention to detail were also quite good too. So we will see what happens.

Oh yeah, Etling also said that Narcisse and Brennan both still had a few minor issues with their mechanics that still need to be ironed out, but he said with good coaching, hard work, and dedication that it wouldn't take long for them to correct those issues.

Anyway, we will see who wins in the fall.

I think both will play with packages for Myles and Lowell. Being so completely different can be used to our benefit.

Narcisse is such a threat to run the ball, all he has to do to get the receivers open is act like he is going to run the ball. When the defenders move up to make the stop, then simply throw it over their heads to the receivers that are now wide open.

WOW! Just like you draw it up in the dirt on the playground! Mind blown....does anybody on here know how to send in plays to the coach? Because if we could just run this play alot along with the one my 93yr old mom keeps suggesting, I smell a natty....

Here is her play: "When everybody's all bunched up in the middle like that, why doesn't he just run around the end?"

Why does it matter that we, the public, know this right now? We aren’t the ones competing.

I hope you are wrong because I have always hated two-quarterback systems. O and Ensminger needs to play whoever is the better OB of the two.

Actually a Malzahn play, not that Steve can draw up Gus plays or anything.

I hope that is true but it's a lot easier throwing to receivers without defenders and no dlinemen and lb's breathing down your neck. If he does it in games we will have a gem. They say Brennan is accurate also and he will also have to prove he can perform in games, may the best qb win the job and win us a bunch of championships.

The "King Lowell" Entourage has already emerged.

That's a massive IF there.

If you have to "Clean Up" your defense reading and accuracy, that means you're not good at either and not an SEC starting QB.

I keep telling you kids that Narcisse is going to be BH 2.0. Only a matter of when that becomes apparent, not if.

Gonna be a lot of disappointed Entourage worshippers when it all falls apart.

When was the last time an LSU QB walked up to the line and saw 10 guys in the box and changed the play? Always drove me crazy! To say QB development has been lacking would be an understatement

I think some people wake up in the morning looking for things to complain about.

A lot of them login to tigerdroppings shortly after.

This would only become apparent if Myles is no good

So presumably you think he sucks too?

It's going to be a spread RPO/tempo offense with 3 to 4 wideouts. Most of the snaps will come from shotgun formations. At least that is what Grant Gunnell says. As Ensminger went over the offense with him a couple of weeks ago.

So an offense that Ensminger has 0 experience running.
