If he hadn't quit baseball he'd be playing minor league baseball for some organization. His family had to tell many major league teams that he was no longer playing baseball when he quit after his sophomore year. They were already on him as a top prospect.

Yeah I would have to see him on the baseball team before transferring. I have to believe he and his family and maybe CPM mulled it over.

AH lures TQ to LSU telling he can beat the sterotypical reciever of SEC west. He doesnt get that ultimate chance like others have.

Fact is.... you are laughable, and ridiculed in SECwest if you bring in a white skill player. Thats one reason Miss state doesnt even try.

The whole argument about his drops vs 1 Bama game is stupid.. it is relatively insignificant and a small sample size to judge a player.

Or looked at from a realistic perspective, it was the absolute biggest stage on which he played in his career, and he was given a chance to prove himself. Everyone knows what happened.

10 pages for Trey Quinn
4 pages for John Diarse
Diarse did manage to score a few more TDs than Trey

That's bullshite. Odell didn't get benched for 2 years after he dropped as much as he caught.

Diarse will make it to the league, no doubt.

Arranda should talk to him about moving to LB. His LBs at Wisconsin were all white guys with alot of heart.

I would leave if I were a WR at LSU

Honestly, the Offense is USUALLY not WR friendly.

That's a shame. I was hoping the kid was going to be a stud here, but he'll end up being just fine. Think about the embarrassment of riches we have at that position when, a player who would be ranked the 7th best recruit in FSU's #2 class this year, transfers for lack of playing time.

Quinn appeared to be a player who's skill set didn't fit with the skill sets of our QBs. He followed his heart and came to LSU. His brain has won out over his heart, and he realizes he needs to go elsewhere to make the best use of his skills.

I hope he finds a football program that allows him to better demonstrate his skills.

Hate to see LSU losing a talented, quality kid. Teams need character to win championships. Hopefully he can land in a place with a system and QB that can utelize his skills

Hard to blame him - he and Malachi (who was also a little disgruntled about the offense) came in following the 2013 season when we finally passed the ball effectively.

There are hardly enough catches to go around between two receivers.
