Are you going to analyse his numerous other drops in games leading up to that game?

This is a flat out lie. He did not have numerous other drops

LSU had 3rd and 3 at it's own 42 yard line. We threw a pass that would have made it first down at the 50 with 2 minutes left in the game. Instead we dropped it. So if he catches it, LSU has 1st down at the 50 in a tie game with 2 minutes left

Instead the drop happens. Lsu is forced to punt. The punt is downed at the Bama 1 with 1:56 seconds left. Bama fumbles on the next play and now LSU has 1st down at the Bama 5 with 1:13 seconds left.

Please explain how my logic is incorrect. Yes it is hindsight, but it is also true. In hindsight, the dropped worked out great
They're idiots. They can't understand, that "in hindsight", it helped LSU. What they fail to see is all you are saying is that one can't put the loss all on TQ because of the drop, because IN HINDSIGHT, it worked out better in the long run.

I would have liked to see him stay and have success here, but at the end of the day it doesn't bother me that he decided to move on. Like others, I don't believe it's going to hurt us as we do have much talent at the WR position.

Maybe I'm guilty at having selective memory, but other than the one glaring drop at Alabama, and the one miss that would have been a fantastic catch had he made it at Alabama, I can't recall him having any other major drop in any other game during his time at LSU.

I challenge anyone who believes otherwise to prove it wrong.

was a terrible drop and the other was questionable. Selective memory serves you wrong.

I'm sorry Rickdaddy, you must be smarter than the rest of us. At what point did LSU have the ball in the 2014 Alabama game with a chance to "seal victory"?

My bad. I was wrong.

Oh my god!! Both!? As in two?

Some of you are miserable fricking people. I also find it funny that there is a considerable overlap between people who will defend a 60 something year old coach making millions per year to the death but will denigrate college kids. It's pathetic.

Yeah. Two is a huge number if youre only targeted 20 times a year

At no point did attack Quinn's character or his athletic abilities. I just think there are 6-7 players on the offense that warrant touches over TQ. Thats it.

ETA: I dont defend Miles at all. I state facts about his tenure. Its not defending. Its called reality

Best knowledge from an old timer; Trey has the leu experience and wants to play football. go to McNeese and be the HOMETOWN HERO. If you strike out in football, go play professional baseball which i am told Quinn is better at than football...be a God in Louisiana for Life.....

If it's even true, and I challenge you to show me, it means nothing. If he was 5 feet in the air arched backward to catch a high ball that was behind him and he was athletic enough to make contact with his hands it wouldn't be considered a drop. It would however been considered a great catch had he made it.

Size wasn't his problem. He was 6'0 200 pounds. Y'all realize Odell was 5'11 190 and Jarvis 5'11 200.

Actually, I find it ironic that anyone thinks this is a one sided deal. The extremist mindsets about CLM do the exact same thing on both sides. Also been going on for years Jordan Jefferson, DJ Welter, etc.

We have a passionate, sometimes delusional, often downright mean fanbase.

Now excuse me, I gotta go fill up piss balloons, I want them really ripe for the football season.
