Unless there's some huge turnaround coming that isn't obvious, this seems like a bad move. SMU is 2-22 the last 2 years, and their passing numbers over that time haven't been much better than LSU's. I don't think he's going to go there and put up the numbers people are expecting.

Why? He gets a shot to be used in an offense and show his skills. Players get drafted from bad teams every year.

Well the last 2 years the SMU passing offense has been only marginally better than LSU's. Maybe Morris can revitalize it and showcase his WR and QB, but it will have to happen before I believe it.

Great decision! Great school that will set him up for success in life when his football days are done. A chance to hook up with a highland park hottie that'll set him up financially for the rest of his life.

what I meant by getting "killed," is that, is that assuming he is the go to receiver, there's no one to throw to him, no one to block for the qb, and no other receiver to take the heat off of him, so he will be exposed out there, that is, unless SMU has reverted to its old ways and gone out and hired some talent
