Can someone explain to me why Quinn had 5 catches season and is now a top reciever in the country? It amazes me how little we used such a talented player like him.

Can someone explain to me why we are having new posters sign up nearly every day to either bash the former staff or blow the current one?

I agree shutting the offense down against the Choo Choos and against BYU was not smart, they should have been executing the pass offense when they had the opportunity

Quinn had his chance here and blew it.

He's on the biletnikoff watch list and LSU is playing scrub wide receivers, losing games to Troy and running the program into the ground. Clearly he's the one that blew it.

Same reason we had 9 completions in our offensive explosion last week

You could say that’s all the result of players like him leaving. Instead of grinding it out he and others prima donna’ed out and quit on the team.

Does anyone remember what 2 wide receivers Les Miles started in the bowl game trying to please them when everyone knew they were transferring?

The offense was a dumpster fire before he left. I'm thinking the only reason he went to LSU is because he grew up a fan. Made no sense otherwise.

Tarpon08 has it right:

quote:

1. Les Miles
2. Cam Cameron
3. Anthony Jennings
4. Brandon Harris
5. Ryan Perrilloux Leaving
6. Jarrett Lee Pick Sixing

Could probably add Jamarcus on purple as #7.

I say this every year - run the entire damn offense against every team! Perfect it in game situations, so it's fine-tuned for the better opponents.

This entire "don't give future opponents film on our offense" is just nonsense. As long as our offensive play-calling is unpredictable, it doesn't matter what's on film. Hell, there's even an argument that putting more on film gives our opponents more to have to gameplan for.

Don't overthink things. Just work on what we do and let our opponents worry about trying to stop it.

Yeah Quinn has a few key drops and we lose faith in him, he leaves then becomes one of the nation's best recievers. Jefferson had a few inept years and played as much as possible.... that is why miles had to go he obviously played favoritism

Midfield 4th quarter with 2 min left... 3rd & 3 Jennings finally drops back with a clean pocket and delivers decent pass to Quinn... DROPPED!!!

Bama goes on to kick a FG to force OT and add another "L" to our Bama losing streak.

You are a fricking mouth breather for attempting to compare Quinn with OBJ.

To be fair, Brandon Lafell and Dwayne Bowe had serious issues with drops. Lafell's drops cost LSU a game against Kentucky. OBJ had issues with drops early on as well.
