Trey Palmer couldn’t sniff the field at WRU.

Shows how deep our WR room historically is.

I seem to remember a long TD catch against MSU in our 28-10 win in 2021.

in 2019? sure.

2020 and 2021: there was no one to coach him up. raw talent, no coaching, and no myles brennan to toss him the rock.

Nah, he left to start at WR, which he did at Nebraska, and he had a great year there.

This is a stupid thread and you should be ashamed for starting it.

Yeah this thread is a poor decision. Not really sure what the point is.

He wasn’t good at LSU. Players do get better over their careers and he’s one that has gotten real good.

Dumb arse take op . He would’ve been WR#1 the year he transferred for us . He showed out at Nebraska. He would’ve been our PR also .

Wasn't he a freshman? Sampson didn't light the world on fire this year either. If he had stayed, he probably would have gotten better.

Sometimes a player needs to transfer to reach their full potential. The two greatest players in LSU history are transfers so...

Yeah, but he would have been a better option at punt and kickoff returns.

His best at Nebraska (1043) is not a top ten season at lsu. Let’s pump the brakes on great. Hall of very good for sure. I would have loved to see him teamed with Daniels though.

Does anyone remember Trey catching a short pass right before halftime against A$M and accelerating past their defense for a 56-ish yard TD? Palmer was good and is still good. He's playing in the NFL.
