On the rewatch, the Cowboys media darling got absolutely manhandled and embarrassed in that epic 2019 game...
Chase catching balls on him all game, Clyde running him over...love to see it. Damn that team was good.

AJ Terrell got abused by Chase and is one of the best corners in the league already. One bad performance doesn’t define a kids career (ex: Stingley vs Devonta)

He’s terrible in coverage. Was just in the right place at the right time for most of his interceptions this year.

He’s in the pro bowl because of his INTs. He has so many INTs because he gets thrown at all the time because he’s not great in coverage.

If we’re being honest, no one was talking about that. Chase owned the best corners in the nation and is far superior than the walking tooth pick that is Devonta Smith.

He’s an overrated DB. This isn’t a shock. He gets a lot of interceptions because he is not a sound CB and takes a ton of risks. It pays off on interceptions but also is why he gets burned over and over again.
Plenty of DBs could take his approach and have just as many INTs. He’s not good at his job of covering WRs, and yet as a Cowboy gets overinflated value.

Our defense got torched in the second half of the 2019 game I still don’t know wtf Delpit was doing back there. Stingley had no help over the top while trying to cover Smith. Thank god the defense got it together at the very end of the season
