Trent to Wife: Damn, we are fuk'd.
Wife: What do you mean, Honey?
Trent: They told me this was a Football school, but...........The Football Team sucks donkey balls. I think Jim Harbugh and those Stanford pussies could have run through that Defense. I have an undefeated team busting their arse, and all the LSU fans can talk about is:
1) How bad GT will beat them
2) Why Les won't hire a DC right this minute.
3) What color jerseys they will wear.
4) Why doesn't Mike like his cage.
5) Pete Carroll and Nick Saban.
They are even bitching high and mighty about the BCS system, you know, the one that they won twice.

No...you are wrong. They are also talking about how much SI and ESPN hate us. Get your facts straight.

I am just glad that I have plenty of other things to worry about besides why a new def. coordinator hasn't been hired. I tend to let the people responsible for such decisions worry about it.

LSU has some of the worst fans ever. The ones who are "die-hard" now didnt give two shits about football during the 90's. The only time they care about the basketball team is when there is a chance they will make it past the first round of the tourny. But our baseball fans are soooooooo loyal right?? I wonder if Trent Johnson has any room on the roster for Marcus Simmons. He's looking to transfer (lack of playing time) from USC and he's from Louisiana.

People will be fully involved in basketball once football offically ends and we have a new DC. If we don't hire a new DC, people may never know basketball ever started.

Watch games on ESPN and tell me basketball hasn't fully started yet...
We are the only stadium thath as been on TV empty so far this season that I've seen. There is no football. Get your sports fix in the PMAC.

TJ unfortunatly will see that this town doesn't have smart enough fans to appreciate Basketball.BB is a much more fundemental,thinking mans sport than Football.He will have to perform his duties in front of the 5-6K loyal fans who support the program.The idiots may get involved if other idiots make them feel like bigger idiots if they don't go to the games.I hope they stay home and surf the internet to try and improve their knowledge of Football coaching and tailgating and let the BB team win in peace.

I share most of the same sentiments. I think if we can get a few seasons of consistency, then people will start to come back. It was rocking for most of Dale's tenure, so we know it can be done.
I have had season tickets for the past 8 seasons so I know i've done my part. Keep up the hoops talk as well, it can only help

It amazes me that a student body of 30k that prides themselves with being super tigerfans doesn't fricking take over the PMAC.I had the pleasure of living in ACC territory some years back,and let me tell you those students make the games exciting.It makes no sense that these kids at LSU have something better to do for two hours 1-2 nights a week.Surely you had a hoop in the driveway of the house,you know what the lane is,its cheap you get to sit at midcourt WTF is wrong with you spoiled rich kids you act like their playing hockey

quite frankly, I really believe the LSU "fans" enjoy bitching about the state of the football, basketball, baseball programs, etc... than going out and having fun supporting them.

LSU basketball has always had better attendance after spring semester starts back up. Plus that's usually when the better games are anyway.
