If you expect a huge party you will be disappointed. It's just people wondering around looking at booths and auction items, eatting food, talking football, drinking beer, watching highlights and the band and coach come at the end.

sounds like a great party to me.

I been 3 times, first time went late and they were outta food and beer, didnt make that mistake again. its awesome if you get there early

notice how he's winking at the camera, as if to say "No worries, LSU fans, I am DEFINITELY coming to LSU *wink wink*"

Miles should cut this kid's scholarship, but that's just my opinion.

One of the reasons that Miles cut Luther Davis's scholly was bc Luther straight up lied to miles about going visit Bama. Bell was up front about it. Admitted that he felt he at least owed Bama a visit after all "the love they were showing" him, or however the kids say it these days, with their MTV and "Compact Discs"

CFN on Tebow as a leader

Posted by HereComesTreble on 12/9/08 at 11:30 pm
I got all the respect for Tebow in the world, but I thought this was a pretty funny and somewhat accurate write-up. Is he really "The greatest leader in college football ever?" I doubt it.

quote:

In case you haven’t heard, Tim Tebow is William Wallace, Albert Schweitzer, and Frank T.J. Mackey all wrapped in one big, messy package.

Media, coaches, and everyone surrounding college football, I’m begging you to quit with the insufferable fawning and deification of Tebow like Dick Vitale and the college hoops-types like to do with Tyler Hansbrough, a marginally talented, grindy player who’ll make a nice living sitting on someone’s NBA bench. Tebow is a better football player than Hansbrough is a college basketball player, but running around and screaming “let’s go” all the time and getting in players’ faces doesn’t make him special. It makes him annoying.

Florida is loaded with high character leaders who don’t spew out clichés and high school we-got-spirit-how-bout-you caliber schlock. Tebow is a great player. A once-in-a-generation player who epitomizes everything that college football should be about? No, that’s probably Florida State’s Myron Rolle. The greatest leader in college football history? Vince Young, Tommie Frazier, Nile Kinnick, Sammy Baugh, Red Grange, Jim Brown, Jim Thorpe, and a slew of others might have something to say in that debate. Let Tebow be a special player. Let him be in the discussion of the greatest college quarterbacks ever. Don’t force anything more than that.

I would first choose schools that actually compete, then would base my decisions as follows:

Best shot to the pros-USC (you look like an NFLer every play bc they play noone, and while the combine is important, so is hype)

Academia- Texas

College Town- UGA

Chicks- LSU/Ole Miss/ Vandy (but this is a debate for another day)

Fans- LSU (hands down)

National Championships- LSU, UF

Culture- LSU (though i doubt any real recruit looks at this)

All this factored in, personally I would stay close to home to be near family
Logan's already got his offer, not sure if board was aware. If aware, then feel free to ignore
graduated 03, year ahead of mike
man, i remember how excited i was when we got bowe, amp, and davis. This would be sick

Yeah, you're right, 3-0 in bowls and beating the dog shite out of other team isnt that good a resume. In that case, I'll just say that we win bc of his hat.

all im sayin is dont be surprised if we dont win this year...

While I think we'll win due primarily to Les's bowl record, I dont think many would be "surprised" by a loss. But a whole shitload of people would pissed
