The highly regarded professional basketball scouts of LSU are out in force. So disappointed that the kid might not return to play for us next year, we have to demean his basketball skills. Some even accuse him of not wanting to do homework anymore. Super knowledgeable fans. Makes future prospect warm and fuzzy about signing to play with the Tigers!

IDC what his stats or what year he was. Hes behind Mays (amazing that you dont know how to spell a top 15 impactful LSU basketballs name), and at least E. Williams.

Makes me a little nervous regarding the Will Wade/NCAA situation. Perhaps Trendon knows something we don't... More than likely, he's testing the waters...but his announcement doesn't seem to indicate coming back are in his plans. Who knows....

I can't imagine why playing basketball for free versus for hundreds of thousands of dollars would be more enticing.

Kid ain't nowhere near ready for an NBA, but money talks. NBAD league for awhile or overseas.

Many said the same for reid. Yet while Undrafted he has a 4 year 4mil+ contract and started a game of two. If watford ends up overseas he was never going to play in the nba. If he is a year away he will be a nba d league guy. It is amazing how many players are making money playing overseas. If it comes to that. He won’t end up there. At worse if he goes he would be and league player. His comparison is to a Jeff green and I think that is a great comparison.

Emmitt will very likely be gone, people connected with program have been saying it since before season. He had no plan to return.

For whatever it’s worth, Watford has hung around BR the last month working out with Smart and Mays. You don’t typically see guys that are dead set on leaving stay around for workouts and conditioning.
