Before the season started Mills was moving down to nickel when we required a 3rd corner basically and Jefferson replaced him at safety. So basically Thomas will become the dime back, which is where he should be.

yeah, and let me take this moment to gripe about Kevin Steele's scheme that lined up #13 on USC's best player, Pharoh Cooper. Stupid. I don't care if he was in the slot... slide KTII or Tre White over on him.
