Might be Germans but oh well. Per ole dandy don:

"Well, according to this article by Jimmy Smith of nola.com, Valentine might just suit up for the Tigers as early as this fall. Smith cites “multiple sources” as saying LSU is “open to the idea” of taking back the 6-3, 350-pound defensive lineman, who was dismissed from the Tigers team before ever playing a down because of off-the-field trouble, if he maintains his current course and compliance decides that the transfer would meet NCAA guidelines".

I'll believe he exists when I see him.

I just respect the kid for trying to come back instead of going to a third school and starting over.

I'd like to see him suit up for the Tigers, but his lack of self discipline will most likely prohibit that yet again.

Well, I won't believe it till I see it, but he would be a perfect nose tackle and provide some much needed depth on the DL.

Would give us a lot more versatility and able to move Godchaux to DE some.

Jesus our defense would be so ridiculous with him up front. Could be a key piece in a national title run.

I don't understand how a guy who was kicked off a second team is on track to return to LSU. We know from when he and Trey L were here the first time that chemistry can sink an otherwise talented team. I'm not sure why you would import a problem like him back into the program. If he's changed, that's great, I just don't see how you can tell that from what he's done since he's left here.

I really believe we could have won titles in 2009 and 2012 with problem children Perrilloux and Mathieu on the team. Time to take a risk. Tired of fricking losing. Tired of Bama being Daddy.

Who did Mathieu and Perilloux fight on the team? Who did they steal from on the team? Valentine is different. Also, no one ever accused Mathieu of being a bad teammate.

TV's problem was he wouldn't go to class and he wouldn't stop smoking weed. It's not impossible to think that he's matured, and his efforts to fix both of those issues would be pretty easy for the coaches to find out.

Trey L was a totally different situation. From the fight in the weight room to sucker punching people in Tigerland, it was soon clear the kid was too unstable to be in school. It's not shocking that 6 months after being kicked out of LSU he was arrested for going on a 2 day carjacking binge.

Was he dismissed from Arizona Western? I knew he transferred to MGCCC, but I wasn't aware of this.
