You can thank all the queer arse frat boys for the mess in that picture. We tailgate right in that area and are fairly clean, but there's always a couple frat tents around and they leave a terrible mess every week.

I do not think so. Underage people tend to not have their own tailgates and do not leave much trash. Its the older crowds with the kegs and large tailgaits that leave the trash. Just what I notice.

There is increasingly growing frustration at LSU with the lack of respect by tailgaters. Meetings will be going on this week to see what else can be done.

Isn't that area mostly college kids and the under 30 crowd? Put a LOT more cops in that area. And don't allow people to bring old sofas to campus because you know what will happen, they get left.

I got a couple of buddies that are on the force, I just sent them these pictures, they are ticked! So if you are on the parade grounds next weekend look for a couple of extra pi$$ed cops.

I think tailgaters need to take more pictures like this of people in the act and send it to the Cops, like I said I have a couple of buddies (LSU alumni, fought in OIF) that are on that wall in the parade grounds, and that is a damn shame..

There's no way that kind of messed can be pinned on a certain age, frat/gdi, whatever...

The fact that anyone would trash the campus like this is disgusting, and like with all things the normal people who tailgate will suffer with the morons. When LSU comes out with outrageous rules we'll all be affected.

Thats where the Frats tailgate.

LSU usually has crews out and have it all picked up by noon.

That's what prisoners are for.
gees.... Every bit of that is gone now.

Its always been like this and always will be, just a result of having 100k people in one spot all day drinking and partying.

Easiest way to make a statement is to start citing and arresting underage drinkers. You see someone with alcohol, you ID them. PERIOD.

Most of this shite is likely from 17-20 year old idiots that just got trashed. Arrest their asses for underage drinking and littering.

Any proof that this scene was from <21 students, or just looking for a scapegoat? How about citing everyone who litters? Whatever police do come around issuing MIP citations (a citation, not an arrest) get in and get out with little regard for littering.

Prisoners do pickup trash but LSU has to hire various trash services as well.

If people put their trash in cans it would save lsu athletics a lot of money which may help buyout Miles's contract. LOL

I can't believe you're defending this...so because inmates pick this up it's ok to trash the area?

It's not because of 100K people partying...it's because 100k trashy people have no respect for the area and trash it because of a lack of respect. Bring some god damned garbage bags and stop littering...

They have to.

We appear to be one step from just getting rid of portalets and just shitting on the grounds. Why not right?

Those are some of the frat tailgates on the north side of the parade grounds if I'm not mistaken.
