Game Options

Posted by pianoman224 on 8/22/16 at 9:41 pm
Good morning, it's been quite a while since I have posted; however, I needed "experts" help. I am currently deployed and the environment we are deployed in does not have much in the ways of bandwidth or television. I have gathered what looks like about 10 tiger fans and we would love to be able to watch the game, even if it is days later. As it is nearly impossible to stream does anyone know of a way to download the games or burn them to disk, drive, etc so we can have them mailed to us? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Saints vs. Bucs

Posted by pianoman224 on 11/21/13 at 9:00 pm
Haven't posted in awhile. First, sorry to post during a Saints game, got an opportunity to get to the internet today so streaming the game.

I am getting back from Afghanistan in 30 days and plan on flying in with my son (he's 10 and a die hard Brees fan) to his first game. Anyone have any tickets they wouldn't mind selling? If not I'll go on Stubhub but wanted to hit up the TD crowd first. Thanks

edit: please e-mail to jlharrell24@gmail.com, not sure when I'll get back to TD.com
Agreed, the reason Graham has been so good this year is because Safeties have been moving over to Colston's side and leaving the seam to LBs to cover Graham.

When Graham has a bad game (doubled by safeties/LBr) Colston has a huge game. Both of these guys along with Moore are Brees' safety net. All those years together means something; however, I agree that he isn't worth top 5 WR money.
OFF - Williford, Blackwell, Blue, JC

DEF - Brooks, Minter, Logan, Reid (knew he was going to be good, but not All-American good by his 2nd year)

ST - ALL of them! Badger, Harrison, Wing, Alleman
White River, Bull Shoals Arkansas. Best Fly Fishing in the world
Position breakdown:
Taylor, remember he played his best FB when Reid went back there at FS, I think that if we land Collins we'll be just fine at Safety. Reid is such a coach back there, allowed Taylor to be an athlete and fly around the field.

Love Brooks, but think he is easily replaced by one of the Freshman in waiting.

Blackwell/T-Bob were incredible this year; however, with Dworaczyk coming back (hopefully) and the studs we have at OL I think this group will be better next year. YR3 of Hurst and Lonergan, YR2 of Faulk/Williford we are really only replacing backups with more talented backups.

QB, although I do think Mett is more talented and a better QB, always worry about the unknown and that is what he is.

However, after all that I'd have to say LB'r. I know sounds funny; however, think about our weakest position this year is LB'r with 3 of our top 4 rotational LB'rs being Seniors (Hatcher/Baker/Francois) yet if it's our weakest position why couldn't any of the backups break into the rotation? Makes you wonder. Hope I'm wrong and Barrow/Muncie/Randle/Jones/Welter/Freshman step up..

If our Juniors leave (RR/MC)..this changes things

He is the modern day Yoda
Jones is a Gap hitter; so who is going to supply the power, HRs, this year?

FWIW, my sources (no links, pics, phone #'s available) tell me it's all pretty simple and an inside the team thing that really tells me how close this team and staff are. Apparently JL is a big deer hunter and has been partaking of his hobby during the week and missing some classes. He was warned repeatedly and did it again last week so Les decided to go with JJ to start the rent a win, and stayed with it. Then, to ice the cake, just when JL thought he wouldn't see the field, les puts him in and makes Stud call the JJ package. The staff/team thought it was a riot, as did JL, who did pretty well in JJ's package, btw. Relax guys, they're les' team and he's got this.

Actually this is pretty accurate from what I gathered from a couple of people.(trainers/doctors talking to players about it Sunday)

Funny thing is everyone on here is pretty pi$$ed but the players think it is funny and an awesome "punishment"..

re: Which ranter is this?

Posted by pianoman224 on 11/14/11 at 8:19 am to
Agree, All TD members should have a chant or dance or something to identify us during the game..then we'll see how many really are at the game
They look good..but Auburn quit a long time ago..
To take advantage of guard play, btw the tackle running, we MUST have a center that can at least put a body on the Nose/DT. We haven't had that this year.

Ivory running tentatively really showed me yesterday the RBs are seeing DEF players as soon as they get the ball. Our Center is a weak link and teams know it. In the NFL teams scheme towards weaknesses. Hence the runs and passes at Shanle and Porter this year.

re: Our Gambling D

Posted by pianoman224 on 10/30/11 at 8:56 pm to
True; however, we've spent a first round pick on the D since 2008
The one that was worse was the obvious "launch" to the head of Moore. That was ridiculous and with it being an emphasis this year should have been called..

O-line is really stinking it up..Saw Goodwin play with the 49ers today and he was really good moving the tackle and getting to the second level..might have been our most underrated FA last year.
Over, 4th QTR he'll get 8-10 carries

Coach: Where the hell are the pictures?

(50): The pictures were just here coach..

(27): I saw them too

Coach: Find them

(55): What would Katzenmoyer do?!

Yes, privacy act. Also, isn't synthetics still legal in Louisiana? I know that Texas just made them illegal about a month ago, it's a teenage rage here, parents were upset. No THC, have to specifically test for it the 5 ingredients (all five are not illegal substances).

Not condoning the act, but don't know if LSU has a policy on synthetics, Louisiana has passed a law on them or if it's a pure LSU Football team rule. It's not tested in the NCAA.
I got a former LT of mine that is a training Company Commander there..former LSU graduate. Send me an e-mail with your name and if you happen to get assigned to his Company I'll make sure you get a final score..without the abuse.

Thanks for being one of the few that has signed up/ volunteered at a time of war.

BTW whatever you do do not delay your Ship date, with the budget crisis we have now, you'll RENO to a HORRIBLE job and no bonus/schools, if they let you RENO at all.

its part of the secret playbook...that is all we will run from that formation against Bama, then Lee will run the option and rush for 99 yds and 2 touchdowns, JJ will throw for 250 yds and a touchdown and his one option run he'll actually hand off to Shep who will throw it to JJ for a touchdown catch!

We also won't play Hatcher/Francois/Hebert the entire game..we only play them now to show them on tape..Best of all Shep will return kicks/punts and Miles will wear a purple hat that fits!

re: Miles on linebackers....

Posted by pianoman224 on 10/17/11 at 8:27 pm to
I saw Hatcher/Francois/Jones at LB when Tenn scored from the 2. If that is our goal-line set we are going to have tough time stopping TR.

I'd like to see Barrow/Minter/Baker, Minter rotate at OLB, play a true 4-3 against Alabama and let Reid/Taylor come down and man up on the outside..make bama beat us throwing on the best corners they've seen all year

re: did we hit cam high?

Posted by pianoman224 on 10/9/11 at 9:50 pm to
If they lower the helmet it's going to be called..the first one was the most ridiculous call I have ever seen. He was throwing the ball while being hit!

Loved the hit Vilma put on him, really changed the way he played after that hit.

Game Online?!?

Posted by pianoman224 on 10/9/11 at 11:55 am
Losing Satellite due to rain in Houston. Game online anywhere?
This topic always amuses me this year. We have 5 really good RBs, we can't give them all the ball..plus let Sheppard/Randle/Beckham/Peterson catch 5 passes a game!

I like rotating 2/3 backs each game and play to their strengths against defensive weakness. I look for Ford/Blue to get the majority of the work next week, with Ware getting 5-6 carries..then Sunday we'll hear Ware is in the doghouse!

BLUF: LSU is playing like it has 8 games left and taking the steps to make sure everyone gets there as healthy and fresh as possible.

Look at the flip side, if TR goes out for Bama they are screwed..
I think we'll see him plenty next week. I like the depth that LSU is running right now. Smaller faster Florida..Ware/Blue, Bigger Teams like Miss St and Tenn Ware/Ford..throw a little Magee in there for breathers..this gives a back a "week off" to get fresh during SEC play each week..it's good times right now!

Ware obviously looked better after his "week off" last week.

We ran something like 5 plays against Kentucky..really treated it like a pay to play game playing 3rd and 4th stringers in the 2nd QTR..we knew we would win.

Bad tackling against WVU maybe bad scheme, but still overcame it in an emotional/hostile environment and won..

bottom line we are undefeated and in better position than any of the teams you've mentioned both health wise/scheme wise/position wise.
