Who exactly are you talking about? Stanfield is a transfer from last season. He is playing every day. We have no competent second baseman who isn't a transfer, and even those are marginal. Who else? Yorke was a highly ranked first baseman and was benched in favor of a freshman that has palyed very little first base before.
Last year, we had a transfer playing Center field, A transfer playing third base, a transfer playing second base, and a transfer playing catcher for a significant amount of time.

There basically is no recruiting now like there use to be. With our system now you probably will not see many 4 year athletes at the same school, maybe 3/4 schools. I don't know how you can change it, not many have the ding-dongs to try. It's the almighty dollar that has taken over.

I know enough to know that the Torina hating shite-stirrers say this every year, and it never happens. Yeah, she loses a few every year who want to play more somewhere else, but that is normal for everyone. There will not be a mass exodus of the better players.

If they finish the yr with 3 more conference series wins that would be 5 of the 8 that they would have won. I would say from where they started it may be her best coaching job in yrs
