And you live in The Woodlands...that's a drive just from downtown Houston.

I live off Burbank right before bluebonnet. Parked on the corner of Nicholson and Burbank in the field. From when I started my car to my driveway was 25 minutes. I stayed tip after the Alma mater.

Traffic is HORRIBLE. I have a pass and getting out of there is rediculous. The guys in blue don't have a clue how to route traffic. It took an hour to get from TS to College after Miss.State and 40 minutes after WV.

For me, personally, it is a big deal as I live in Mobile and on some weekends have to drive back after the game because I have to work the next day, so, yes I would like to see the guys in blue do something other than stand around and talk and smoke cigarettes.

Still, we stay to the end. I think the traffic situation needs to be revisited and different flow patterns put into effect--that being said, we go to support our team, and stay until its over.

There will alway be extenuating circumstances for some people--I had a sick child once and had to leave early--that is understandable--but that is rare. Anyway, back on topic--the traffic is a freakin' NIGHTMARE.

Good point about traffic. 8:15pm start time for the WV game didn't help matters. If one were to stay for the entire game, and they live in New Orleans, what time would they be arriving at their home?

I have not gone to a home game yet this year, but from most I've spoken to, traffic is worse than ever before.

Mind you, I'm in the crowd that would be headed west down I-10 to get home.

I'm 100% with those that say stay until the end....traffic is part of the deal..and, if I'm by myself or just me and the wife, then I'm good with that.

I actually enjoy listening to the post-game show while trudging along.

Makes for a long day, just got to accept it.

However, when we bring our young sons, and get their early to avoid traffic on the front end, just to make sure they can go see Mike and have fun and what-not .... if, by the middle of the 3rd quarter, my kids are tired or acting up or want to go home....which has happened on occasion (the ULL game last year) ... then, it's in EVERYONE's best interest that we leave early.

As pissed as I was with the offense, no damn way I'd leave a 6-pt game in the 4th qtr ... they'd just have to suck it up.

Makes for a long day...and tough if you've got small children and long drives...that's why we only go a couple of times a year.

The rest of the time....fine by me to enjoy it on TV.

I have had two polar opposite situations recently.

1. Stay until end. Party a short while on way to car with parking pass. Sit in car in lot for 1 hour before we can even move. Get directed South when I need to go west. Drive another hour before even being allowed to drive west.

2. Leave with 3:50 to go with no pass. Get to car and start driving immediately. never slow down on way out.

If people think traffic has nothing to do with it, then they are simply full of shite.

Well thats nice and all that some people can return to a tailgate and drink for a few more hours.. Reality though is not everyone has that option and is at the game with kids or older parents.

Not everyone is students as well and live a stones throw away from campus. First game took me 2.5 hours to get home. With 1.5 hours spent entirely on campus stuck in traffic.

This was because cops were not moving traffic from the interior of campus. I moved a foot in 30 min at one point.

Game 2 was better as I parked at the fields by soccer field and it took 1.5 hours to get home.

I left after both games though not before it ended.

In game one the reason it was bad was because for some reason cops were confused about making one of the roads 2 lanes.

I have a solution.

Wait until the game ends, go back to your tailgating location, drink more beer, and leave about 2 hours after that.
