Look at the link I provided, 100. Beating Lipscomb Et al. will not put you at 17.

The link you provided is to ESPN’s metric. Is it the same as the NCAA’s?

quote:

SOS RK: Strength of Schedule (SOS) rank among all Division I teams based on how a typical 25th ranked team would do against each team's schedule to date. SOS accounts for the game location, day's rest, travel distance, and high altitude in addition to opponent strength.

Do you really think playing Lipscomb, McNeese, Texas State, and Northwestern State has you close to top 20?

Is the link you provided the same as the NCAA’s definition? This is a straight forward question and I assume you know the answer.

I asked you a straightforward question, do you really think think Penn State is a crowning achievement?

I’ll take your deflection as the answer.

It appears your big gotcha link is about as relevant as the fricking dishwasher thread that was posted here a few minutes ago.

Well done sir, well done.

Don’t know much about dishwashers, just know ESPN is more of an authority than schedules.com

NET =/= SOS. LSU’s SOS prior to SEC play was 180, it’s currently at 100.

Ah I see your perpetually retarded arse is using ESPN’s rankings. Why not use any other ranking sites SOS rankings? TeamRankings has us at 17 in SOS. But that doesn’t fit your irrational Wade hating agenda does it? What about Warren Nolan, let’s check that one. What do ya know, they have LSU at 16 in SOS. Surely there has to be more than just ESPN that agrees with your dumb arse. Oh nope, KenPom has us at 12 too. Even RealTimeRPI has at 14. My god, it looks like nobody but you and the figs up in Bristol are hating on our schedule.

Wade owns you boy. Your hatred is completely irrational and your opinion is more than irrelevant. So please next time you see a post about basketball resist the urge to shite it up with more retardation and shut the frick up. Just remember that quote, “Better to keep your mouth shut and let others think you a fool, than to open it and remove all doubt.”

And since you’re such the expert I asked if ESPN’s version matches the NCAA’s since that’s what the thread is about. I assumed you could tell me the difference between the measurements in all of these links. Seems like a pretty drastic difference so it should be pretty easy to identify.

This team may accomplish something, but if you truly think they played a top 20 preseason schedule then your glasses are coke bottle thick purple and gold ones.

Hating a coach with the best sec record the last 3 years is laughable

I don’t know what their ranking is that’s why I’m asking the expert. I can’t seem to get a straight answer for some reason.

Recognizing that the preseason schedule was soft is not hating on the coach. I know many of you only have the capacity for binary decisions but there’s more than that out there.

You think espn’s sos ranking is more reputable than a site like teamrankings or warren nolan? Seriously?
Just admit you are biased as frick
