I generally don’t like bunting, but that was a better outcome than hitting into a double play

Towson making a pitching change, righty Rebok summoned

not impressed with JJ thus far

You’d rather a strike out/foul out than a double play there…maybe not against Towson or for 99.9% of hitters but generally speaking for Milazzo.

I think we’re gonna start dipping into the California arms before long.
I forgot who asked it, but they asked JJ about this being the 1st time he can recruit nationally. He said 1st, he was very pleasantly surprised at how much talent is already in Louisiana. 2nd, he said he’s been recruiting California his whole career. Obviously when he coached there and at Nevada, but at Arizona, he knew he had to really get into SoCal to compete with the PAC teams like USC, UCLA, Stanford, Arizona State. Not to mention the Cal States and Long Beach States. So he’s entrenched there with tons of relationships.
But he also mentioned LSU is unique as a school kids from everywhere in the country wanna come play for and put on that purple and gold. So he said he thought there’d be a really good balance. Which to me sounded like a core group of 4-5 from Louisiana most years, a handful of studs from everywhere who are gonna wind up getting drafted and signing or being the best guys in the class to make it to campus. And a bunch of guys from California. And guys from JUCO or the portal to fill immediate holes that project could speak to.

Don't overlook our neighbor to the west (Houston, TX).

I mean, I didn’t want to type all of that. But, yes, Jay is not gonna stop in CA and has a shiny new product to sell.

2 hardest legs done through 3 innings. I’d say he hits for the cycle, but I bet he hits another extra base hit or 2.

Why does the camera show people scoring and not the hitter trying for a triple.
Baseball is the only sport that cuts away from the action on the field.

Can't believe we missed the PAT
Moses, Frederick, Young due up in the top of the 4th
Tigers lead 6-0

Gonna need Berry to get his act together because Dugas is too good of a hitter to keep back in the lineup if top 4 aren’t absolutely killing it
