Tough Choice to make for FSU game....

Do we hope they blow out Duquesne and have media pump them up all week or have Duquesne give them a fight initially so FSU shows more to LSU than they would like. In the first scenario, FSU shows us nothing but "vanilla" schemes and that works to their advantage, but the 2nd scenario may help us more.

I’d prefer them to be close-ish so they leave starters on the field and we can get more tape on them
It’s a catch 22, same as ucla. Yes we get film on them.. but they also get time to work out some of the first game kinks.

They won’t blow them up. FSU has a ton of injuries and isn’t that good

One aspect that I have not heard any talking heads mention is Notre Dame started there season last year with FSU. Brian Kelly has recently planned against there team. I realize it’s a different year but this has to be an advantage for LSU.

If we continue these college kickoff games, they need to reevaluate the contract and not allow the other team to schedule a warm up game. Defeats the purpose of a season kickoff game if there has already been games played.
