Topics of Interest list you see at bottom of Tiger Rant is also on TD Home Page

As of now, these are topics that we select based on a number of factors include number of "up and down votes" (see the in the top right corner of a thread).
Right now, we are focusing mainly on "newsy" threads (news articles, noteworthy videos, etc)...but will promote any thread that fits the noteworthy category.
Anyhow, please use the up and down note arrows to help us identify topics of interest.

PS - if you are linking to a new article, it would be nice if your thread title was headline-like.
PPS - I would encourage you to use the up-vote feature on our other forums so we can better identify the best threads on those boards.

I think many posters use the down vote feature when they disagree with the content of the post rather than the posting of the story itself.. This requires a complete change in theory.

I could start a help board thread, but since the TOI has been brought up.....do not all of the boards get their own TOI list? For instance, the Gaming Board had it for a bit, but now it links the OT's, as does the M/TV Board and maybe some others.

I hope these thoughts are not out of line, and I do hope they could help.
when I saw the manzel headlines I posted an article b/c I didn't know about the stories on the msb and ot boards.
that was deleted quickly and then I saw a few more rant-manzel stories posted and quickly deleted.
what might have helped is a SUPER HEADLINE.
MAYBE, 3 or 4 SUPER HEADLINES (can be 8pt) between headline TIGERDROPPINGS.COM and DATE.
looks like about 2-3 inches.
for example: Manzel in autograph trouble: see msb
Saban to Dallas Cowboys: see in movie board
p.s. congrats on td.com!

Is it possible for threads to get whacked based on down votes? Perhaps there is a threshold of up votes that prevent whacking, but would help get rid of some of the "I'm ten and just figured out the internet" posts.
