I would have also. If it were a football game, I would have just walked out cussing.

Are u kidding? Slapping hands with the opposing team is fricking embarrassing. I put those fans in the same category as the K-bitch. They just want attention.

Of course they love us. We celebrated with these assholes as if OUR TIGERS just won the CWS.

I see both sides here, and if it had been any school with any history whatsoever, I don't think they get that treatment. At least not all of it. I hope not, at least.

Look, I am as sick about the LSU performance as anyone, but that SB team is special because of what it represents: the underdog, the little guy. Congrats!! So I'm okay with it.

This time...

But bring on football to get this taste out of my mouth!

Over 10K people came to see them play and they were beat by a great squad who is the first in their conference to ever go to Omaha. They probably thought it was very respectful and have the drive to expand on their success next year after a couple seasons without a trip to Omaha. They know expectations here are high. I think it is a testament to what baseball is about in Alex Box.

Very well said. How can you hate on The Cinderella team? If it was South Carolina we were playing there is no way they get high fives

Seriously, if anybody thinks the players think less of the fans for this they are crazy. Those players know that our fans pack the box every game and are behind them 100%. Congratulating the other team AFTER the game doesn't change any of that.

I have a feeling they were pissed at losing and if Cotton's bean ball is any indication, they didn't like the SB players as much as our fans did.

SB is NOT a tiny school.

Standing ovation is one thing, victory lap in opposing teams stadium is another.

Some of ya'll are missing the boat. Applaud them sure. Standing ovation, I won't argue. But a victory lap??? Are you kidding me?? Did Austin Nola invite them over to sit in his locker? Did Kevin Gausman ask them if he could get them a tiger burger or some nachos? Did Paul Mainieri let their coach sleep with his wife?

Come on now, some things are yours, and you don't have to share your traditions with everybody.

Maybe it's just me, but i'd be too damn disappointed in our performance to even have time to think about congratulating SB. Get me to the damn car

I fail to see how not giving them a victory lap in our stadium would be showing poor sportsmanship.

What they did and where they did it was pretty special going through Miami and BR to get to Omaha is pretty special...

I'm sure their fans will have a great time celebrating the win.

Student wise, no, but their athletic program has only been D-1 for like 15 years or so. The bottom line is that they are not supposed to be having this kind of success. Nobody gives a shite about college baseball up there. They had 5500 fans walk through the gates the whole season.
