Absolutely. Good job of mending fences and continually working hard. Visited Shep, Randall, and Collins this week.

I wonder how bad this loss hurt CLM. He's a competitive dude. I have a feeling that LSU is going to be tough next year. Glad he got Shep to come back.

Best college coach there is, and LSU and its fans should be proud and grateful to have him.

Shep touched the ball 14 times. Its not like Miles has any clue how to use him. Him coming back will affect this team, none

I hope Shep is making the right decision. Toliver didn't

The man didn't even give his team a chance to win.His so called best QB JJ didn't get a first down or a completed pass in the SEC champ. game in the entire first half and had one first down in the first half of the BCSNC game yet he never changed a thing. This team waslooking for a spark of any kind. If Lee would have came on the field in the second half they would have saw a change and it may have given them the park that was needed to get us back in the game.Les proved to all the fans that he will call the shots on the field even if he has to lose the game and the fans will not change anything by shouting any other players name.

Still happy to have him as coach.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy to have the most successful HC in LSU history, one leading us to 5 of 7 Top 8 or better finishes still here.

He probably doesn't even think any sane LSU fan wouldn't still be happy to have him as a LSU HC.

Miles the best coach you gotta be kidding. He's not even the second best in his division. I believe college football is 80% recruiting and he is one of the best if not the best recruiter around. But best coach give me a break. If Saban, Spurrier, Petrino, Meyer, had been coaching the Tigers on Monday we would have another crystal Ball. And spare me the spurrier hasn't done crap in South Carolina speech because he doesn't have the talent we have.

So who is the best coach in college? Saban? LOL!

Miles went into Saban's house, outcoached him, and won. All in a year when it was and is being said that this is the best Alabama team of all-time. Every NFL scout I've read has said Alabama has more NFL ready talent this year. Before you blame Les for recruiting and development, keep in mind that half of LSU's starters were freshman and sophomores this year. LSU was built to win the NC in 2012 and 2013. Alabama was built to win this year, and they will not be in contention in 2012 and 2013.

The fact that LSU beat Bama this year and was in the NC Game this year is proof enough to me that Miles is the best coach in college.

We did get 5 first downs though and that 3 and 4 fullback dive was a new wrinkle.

The moniker best of all time was being thrown around LSU because of what they accomplished, beating eight ranked teams in one season. And I believe they are still the only team in college ever to beat eight ranked teams in one season.

When the moniker was used for Alabama, it was to denote that this Bama team was the most talented, NFL-talent-laden team in Bama history.
