still when gaudet comes up you know in all likelihood one of three things will happen
1. pop out
2. strike out
3. homerun

Im not saying he is back, but Im just saying lets see if he is. He is a great leadoff hitter and I would love to have him back if he really is back.

Gaudet was 0-5 at the plate. PM wont change the lineup but I would consider putting Watkins in

Esp in the 8 hole. Gaudet is a weapon. Watkins is a great speed option of bench or to pinch hit for gaudet in bunt situations!

Mainieri spoke at length about Watkins on Channel 9 a moment ago...says Watkins is not 100% to play and do all the things he needs to do in a game. Yes, he got the great hit. No, he can't play a full game.

We don't know how good Watkins will be in a full game situation. His elbow could end up bothering him again.
Its not the time to experiment, IMO. Gaudet has a lot of power we need too, regardless of how much he pops the ball up. This is not exactly a big ballpark...
