Just got home from the game, and I was shocked at their fans no students were there for Tenn. I guessing the Bruce Pearls homecoming is over Tennessee needed that win in a bad way thats a damn fine road win.

one thing i like about this team is that they never stop fighting and hustling. and they never lose their cool. if you watch them during a game they never get real excited when they're doing good and they never get down on themselves when things arent going their way. you could definitely notice that this team implemented things they learned from the xavier game.

Glad I got to go to the game

LsU controlled the tempo, they did not get excited as you said they stuck to the game plan and followed through.

The officiating was a different story though,

Jimmty called it a few days ago, said LSU was the team quietly playing basketball and Tenn needed to look out

see the 6 minute drought in this game in the 9 minute drought in the Xavier game?

Sorry, I know what you are trying to say, but that was just so cliche of a fan after a win.

Josh336 i don't know if you went to the Xavier game or not, but i would not assume that a scoring drought is due to LSU getting down on themselves. We had several shots that just didnt fall our way in the Xavier game, during your so called "getting down on ourselves drought." And if you know enough about LSU basketball to comment on it, then you would see that this years team plays much harder and with much more poise than the John Brady Era.

It is definitely looking that way. There's a lot more hustle by them in the game. They're also learning from their mistakes and working on correcting them as the season progresses. I'm very happy with the progress of this team and pleasantly surprised to see us at 4-1 in the SEC.

GREAT, GREAT ROAD WIN, TIGERS!!!

Victory has a thousand fathers and defeat is but an orphan. Always easy to make lofty pronouncements after a win.

Brady teams always played hard. As for the poise thing one would expect that for a team with six seniors.

it is especially fitting for this team. this team has a much more businesslike approach than most teams i've seen over the years.

and you gotta be kidding when you say most teams never stop fighting and hustling. especially this day in age, more and more teams and players take plays off or unravel at the ends of games.

and garrett temple is a pretty subdued player on the court. never gets too emotional. you're nuts.

also just because there are scoring droubts from time to time doesnt mean they are getting down on themselves. thats why they won tonight. they weathered the tennessee comeback, didnt collapse, kept their heads, kept plugging away and pulled the game back in their grasp. i guess you were too busy rootin for ten. to notice this.
