I am not bandwagon or anything like that!! I have been a loyal fan since 1971. BUT Ga Tech is going to skull-frick LSU!!! There is NO WAY they will be able to stop the option. The D line has been manhandled all year. GT 41 LSU 24

Yea but don't you guys get it that Miles hasn't lost in bowls!! He has a great record in bowl games. He gets the team fired up for them!

Don't get me wrong - I want LSU to win. But - there are two facts that are just daunting:
1. Ga Tech rolled all over UGA.
2. Nothing has been done to replace the defensive staff.
Given those two things - I see little hope.

The Yellow Jackets' nine wins came against Jacksonville State 41-14, Boston College 19-16, Mississippi State 38-7, Duke 27-0, Garner-Webb 10-7, Clemson 21-17, Florida State 31-28, Miami 41-23 and Georgia 45-42.
I love LSU but GT's record is strong.

Not vs LSU and I will pull for them but the thread asks for a prediction and I think LSU will lose. There have been ZERO changes w/LSU and GT has beaten several very good teams. Also, we are playing in their home stadium.

A couple of things have me puzzled with my decision.
1. LSU always shows up in bowl games under Miles. Our opponents haven't been that fantastic, but we're always well prepared and hit on all cylinders.
2. Georgia Tech is a team you can NEVER trust. When you think they've turned the corner, they go back in the wrong direction. When they look hopeless, they surprise you. A complete mystery of a program.
3. LSU's defense blows, and if those new coordinators aren't at LSU with a few weeks to prepare, we will continue to suck.
4. LSU hasn't shown up for a game all year minus Bama. Georgia Tech has shown up all year and played above and beyond.
While I want to go with LSU's recent bowl history, and GT's typical up and down results, I'm going with GT big:
GT - 45
LSU - 31
The worst season in recent memory ends on a fitting note.

LSU couldn't even beat Arkansas. They just aren't a good team. They haven't beaten a good team all year so it should be no surprise when they lose to Tech.

As a Tech fan, it's really disappointing that so many LSU fans are so glum. Our team has come on well later in the year, but you guys are defending national champs! I would be insulted if you guys didn't come here expecting to embarrass us, because that's what we'll expect to do. There's no award for most reasonable fan of the year. If you guys aren't confident, it cheapens it for us. Bee there and bee loud (it'll make it sweeter when we whip you
