Great video and reminded me how the refs stole an interception from this dude.

The fact that it was called a reception on the field blows my mind. Both hands on the ball and knee in bounds.

It touched before then. Other camera angle from the field side caught it.

The other camera angle looked like it was either resting on his hand or on Johnson's body, but doesn't show it touching ground.

Ref called it a reception on the field initially.

It was not definitive that ball hit the ground. It was dark and blocked by the WR knee and you could assume it hit the ground but there was no conclusive evidence it hit the ground. I’ve watch the replay 10 times.

It was but the angle above was only shown once on the broadcast, it was a interception, that ball did not touch the ground. Stingley made a Honeybadger type play and did not get credit.

But it wasn't called a reception.

The ball pretty clearly hit the ground on one of the camera views. Anybody arguing against it needs to take their purple and gold glasses off for a minute to see it probably.

First off, it was ruled complete so your wrong. Secondly, if it hit the ground why haven’t I see one still shot showing that.

I was at the game and was so confused how they ruled it a reception. It was either an incomplete pass or Stingley had it. Not sure if I am remembering right but I don't think the ref's even explained the results of their review.

If the call on the field had been interception, I think it stands.

Originally it was called a reception for Texas which changed everything.

The replay showed that it was definitely not a reception by Texas because he never had possession of the ball but there was a doubt whether it hit the ground before Stingley secures it.

If it would have been called INT by Stingley to begin with I don’t thing they overturn it but they could overturn the call that was made on the field because it was obvious that he never had possession.

Talking about this angle? IDK man it looked like the momentum was carrying the ball on Johnson’s body and his elbow was also wedged beneath it.

IF you watch the video the nose of the ball clearly hits the ground, with no one controlling it by that point, cant use the ground in any way to catch a pass if nobody had possession of it first
